Reviews/Thoughts:
So now Reks and Hawkins are the "security" for NXT, thanks to Laurinaitis. Good choice. Striker's not happy, duh.
To me, Tamina gets more of a reaction than Layla (our Divas champ). Maxine is still handcuffed to Curtis and sucks up to Regal again. The "new" Maxine likes to say "Tammy" (or "Tami," perhaps) to address the daughter of the Superfly. Maxine's done pretty well with submissions. Dragon sleeper wins it for Maxine. Crowd probably took their bathroom break here. Maxine's being the obedient one to Regal this week, and Regal doesn't really know what to think right now.
OK, let's see what Alicia did to JTG. Now JTG's got tights, a vest, and his dreads in a ponytail. Great job, he just became another superstar on the damn roster. Yoshi's kicks remain hard-hitting. Yoshi misses his big roundhouse, and JTG hits some neckbreaker-like takedown move for three. A good win for some much-needed momentum, but he didn't impress me.
So far, Paul Heyman's return is a very good one. It's great that he acts as Brock's mouthpiece for promos leading up to a rumored Brock/HHH at SummerSlam. Good shock value for me as well, because I didn't see it coming.
Striker with a "Terra Ryzing" reference! (Hi, HHH) Curtis and Maxine are now apparently free from handcuffs.
Bateman acts like a jerk to Percy and mysteriously gets jumped. Oh look, it's Percy's old Urkel-like glasses from his NXT days!
Kidd with more impressive aerial moves, although he missed his somersault dive over the top this time. Percy with the hot tag in this one. He moved pretty good for supposedly having a taped-up left knee. Solid match overall.
Hawkins and Reks still in their suits. They slug Tyson and force Percy to the back. I guess we get answers eventually.
