Reviews/Thoughts:
So is this show called RAW Supershow now? I put that in the title of this post anyway.
Punk starts off the show pissed at Nash and calls him out. Nash out to his nWo music. Punk called Nash "Super Shredder"...ha. Whoops, out comes HHH. HHH finds out Nash lied to him again. Nash gets testy, pushes HHH's buttons.HHH decks Nash and fires him. Na na na na, na na na na heyyyy...goodbye!
Nash leaves in a limo with John Lauranaitis. Interesting.
It's Air Boom time with some mashed up music! Basically an average match where Khali messes up again and nails Jinder, leading to an Air Boom win.
Alberto is back on TV, having taken care of his work visa issues.
Kelly Kelly, the Divas champ, is out for commentary during the #1 contender's match for the Divas title. With Kelly a face, this usually means the heel (Beth) will win this one. Natalya on commentary on Cole's side after accompanying Beth to the ring. The commentary completely overwhelmed anything in the match. Afterward, Natalya knocks Kelly down.
WWE plugging "Inside Out," a movie HHH is starring in. It's out in theaters this Friday.
R-Truth and Miz out for a promo. Nice suit, Miz. Miz and Truth will face Air Boom for the tag titles at Night of Champions. Truth can't say "epiphany." Leads to a match between Truth and Punk. Cole was annoying as heck during this match. Great stuff in this one. Miz got sent to the back near the end. Punk's been on fire the last few months.
Out comes HHH after the match. He changed the match at NoC between himself and Punk. No DQ match, anything goes. This should be real good. But hold on, if Punk wins, HHH resigns as COO. Done deal, match on. I'm liking this, and I want HHH to keep wielding the power a bunch longer, so I'm hoping for HHH to win this one -- and then Punk keeps pestering HHH to the point where the story continues for a few more months.
Lawler teams with Zack Ryder this week! Ryder gets a win on RAW! Woohoo!
Orton faces Slater next. Slater had no shot in this one.
Zack Ryder with more screen time! Yes!
Cena starts another segment with a promo, Alberto comes out, and eventually, eight guys are fighting. Teddy Long comes out and says he can intervene when necessary in a GM role. Eight-man elimination tag next! Morrison with good stuff in the ring. Butpoor Morrison...still in the doghouse as he taps to Swagger's ankle lock. Oop, here comes Vickie as we cut to commercial.
Swagger gets Riley to tap. Down to Cena and Sheamus on the face side. Sheamus gets Barrett with the Brogue Kick. Christian got a near fall on Sheamus. Christian slaps Sheamus, so Sheamus chases Christian all over the arena. Double countout leaves Cena alone with Swagger and Ziggler. Guess it's time for Super Cena to "defy the odds" and win again. But first, Cena must get beaten down before getting the cue to hulk up. Argument between Swagger and Ziggler. AA to Ziggler and Dolph is done. Ankle lock to Cena. Cena counters into an STF, and Swagger taps. ADR tries to ambush Cena, but an AA for Del Rio! Crowd goes home happy as the show goes off the air.
Not a bad RAW here. Storylines were furthered and a couple of good matches.
