We see last week's CM Punk promo, which again is the best thing I've seen in a long, long time. Perhaps ever. Cena addresses last week's situation of Punk getting "suspended" by WWE, so we have the #1 contender's match tonight with Truth, Del Rio, and Mysterio. Cena takes Punk's side here, interesting. DB tie choking reference! "First Amendment!" chants. Cena calls Vince out!
Divas tag match was a typical match. I really don't care for Kelly's "stinkface."
WWE Hall of Famers weigh in on if Andy will make it in WWE.
R-Truth in the back on the phone. Ha! He calls ADR senor Jimmy!
Otunga & McGillicutty come out to Punk's music, interesting. Kozlov is now a U.S. citizen, cool. McGillicutty's neckbreaker is a lame finisher. What is Ryder doing out here? "Wooo, wooo, wooo, you know it." WTF?
Swagger and Slaughter. Swagger even mentioned Slaughter's heel Iraqi character during the Gulf War times. Oh God, we have a filler match. God, this wasted my time. Oh finally, it's Evan Bourne to predictably save the day! Pledge of Allegiance done because it's the Fourth of July, after all.
Triple threat #1 contender's match looks to be a great one. Cole is being an annoying ass, as usual. Loved it when Rey and ADR teamed up for a Doomsday Device-like spot. Another nice spot with Truth getting a sunset flip on ADR as Rey got suplexed by ADR. Backstabber from ADR! Nice finish.
Dolph and Vickie segment. Vickie is seriously looking good with all the weight loss. Vickie should never serenade anyone. Dolph did a good promo. Kofi comes to the ring and is sad he wasn't invited to the party. And of course, Kofi pushes Dolph and Vickie lands in the cake. Not once, but twice!
Time for Riley and Miz. Cole calls Riley a spoiled rich kid...I didn't know Riley was now supposed to be rich. Good offense from both guys. Riley wins again! Miz is pissed and takes out Riley.
Well, here we go. Vince McMahon is here! Basically says Punk deserved it. Cena standing up for Punk and calling out Vince's ego. Serious Cena. He gives the title to Vince and is walking out! Vince stops him. Cena has his match with Punk! But wait! If Punk wins the title at MITB, Cena's fired! Absolutely loved this segment. They've killed it two weeks in a row.
