Ratings/Analysis:
Jesse Sorensen vs. Kid Kash: This was to determine who would face Kendrick (or Austin Aries, whomever walked out with the X-Division belt after No Surrender). Sorensen really got dropped on his head on that brainbuster. Not bad here, as each guy got in some good offense. **
Hogan and Angle get some words in backstage.
Bully Ray vs. James Storm: Storm has to win by submission to advance because of the points differential (Storm trailed by 9 points coming in and a submission win is 10 points, whereas a pinfall win is only 7). Intimidation tactics from Bully Ray -- and also stalling tactics. Armbreaker from Storm. Not much action in the first few minutes. "Beer Money!" chants in the crowd. Bully Ray drinks some of Storm's beer and spits it in Storm's face. Storm gets the armbreaker back on Ray and Ray barely gets to the ropes. Sharpshooter! Or I guess they have to call it the Scorpion Death Lock because of Sting (and Bret's in WWE). Fujiwara armbar now by Storm! I like the submission moves here (since it's the only way Storm can advance). Storm gets the beer and goes for Ray, but spits the beer in the ref's eyes instead. Bully Ray taps to the armbreaker! But wait! Storm gets DQ'd for the beer spray! Ouch. Crowd chants "bullshit." I liked this match, actually. Bully Ray plays a great heel. **
Winter vs. Mickie James (Knockouts Title): Mickie wearing the Wonder Woman gear tonight. Winter gets the fast start here with shots on Mickie. OK stuff here, crowd was lukewarm for this one. Angelina tries to get involved but no dice. Mickie chases Angelina away. Angelina then holds Mickie up in the ropes, winter sprays Angelina with the mist. But wait, Winter also sprays Mickie with more mist behind the ref's back! Three count...new champ. *
D'Angelo Dinero & Devon vs. Hernandez & Anarquia (Tag Team Titles): Typical tag match with Sarita/Rosita interference. Good double-team moves from Devon and Pope. Knockouts get involved later in the match and Devon/Pope give both of the ladiesa spanking, which drew the attention of the crowd. Heels cheat to win. Sounds about right. I can understand cheating to win on occasion, but Mexican America does that pretty much every week. Sick of that. *1/2
Anderson interview. "No riding off into the sunset, we're frickin' indoors!" Awesome.
Matt Morgan vs. Samoa Joe: Actually looking forward to seeing what will transpire here. Basic offense to start. Loved Joe flying through the ropes...always find it amazing to see a big man do a suicide dive. Whoa, Morgan with a top-rope crossbody? Looks like Morgan is pretty much back to normal. Crowd got into it more as the match wore on. Joe with the clutch, but Morgan fights out of it. Joe gets frustrated at the end, Morgan nails him with the Carbon Footprint for three. **
Bobby Roode vs. Gunner: Either Roode or Gunner must win by submission to tie Bully Ray in the standings. Sick DDT by Gunner plants Rode right on his head. Gunner works on Roode's neck. Armbar by Roode! Gunner goes for the F-5, countered back into the armbar by Roode! No ropes for Gunner! Crossface! Gunner taps! **
Bischoff comes out and says it will be Roode vs. Bully Ray tonight in the finals!
Austin Aries vs. Brian Kendrick (X-Division Title): Lots of armbars tonight, as we see more in this one. I really love seeing Aries compete. He plays that arrogant heel, but he's hella talented, performing moves so effortlessly. Aries is a vascular vegetarian, was it? Interesting rest hold or submission moves from Aries, looked like he tried to tie Kendrick into a small package at one point. Kendrick fights back. Suicide dive from Kendrick! Kendrick goes for Sliced Bread #2, but gets tossed to the outside. Brian landed with a splat. Aries goes fora suicide dive and eats steel barricade. "Holy shit" chants start. This is the best match of the night so far. These two are just beating the heck outta each other. Double underhook...with a bridge! Two! Aries brainbuster out of nowhere! Three and new champ! ***1/4
Another solid Bully Ray promo
Bobby Roode vs. Bully Ray: The finals of the BFG Series. Staredown at the start with main event intros. Chants for both guys in the crowd. Lots of hard hitting from the get-go, and the crowd is louder than they've been all night long. Crossface on Bully Ray! Ray counters, Roode escapes. Good stuff there. More big chops from Ray, but Roode basically says F-U and says "come on!" More action, Bully Ray misses a back splash, and a Double R spinebuster wins it. A bit of a flat finish. **1/4
Rosita breaks character and talks about her father, who was on the 103rd floor of the World Trade Center on 9/11.
Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Sting (World Title): It's main event time! Good stuff from Angle and Sting. Sting gets thrown to the outside, but Anderson back in. Anderson goes to work on Angle. Crowd barely alive right now. Angle suplexes both Anderson and Sting...impressive. A couple guys chanting "Angle sucks." The usual back-and-forth stuff here, with guys breaking pins up. Anderson goes to the top, but Angle springs up like a cat and throws Anderson off...vintage Angle! Angle then goes splat to the outside. Anderson now in the Scorpion Death Lock. Angle in to break it up, Angle Slam for two. Ankle lock on Sting. Mic check on Angle...for two?! Scorpion death Drop on Anderson! Angle breaks that up. Hogan did something to Sting on the outside. Sting is blinded. Sting grabs the ref thinking it's Angle. Angle low blow, Angle Slam, three count. Crowd was largely dead here. **3/4

Final Thoughts:
I liked that the show kicked off with all the talent on the ramp and America the Beautiful playing. Ten-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. I personally wish they didn't have the PPV on 9/11, but that's just me.
I was touched when Rosita broke character to talk about her father (who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks when working on the 103rd floor of the WTC). Rosita was 10 years old at the time. It's moments like those that give me goosebumps and make me want to listen to the program. it also shows there's more to life than pro wrestling.
As for the show itself, it was largely forgettable. Nothing really stood out -- even the best match of the night (Aries/Kendrick) did not have the "super amazing" buzz to it. **1/4

We're in Ottawa for this RAW Supershow, and Alberto kicks off the show. Alberto says he's the greatest of the great. Oops! Bret Hart comes out to a huge pop! Bret's still gotta get used to this WWE/World champ difference. You know, if Bret's jacket had those pink tassels, I woulda agreed that the jacket was from 1994. Here comes Cena to defend his good buddy Bret. Alberto brought his set of jalapenos! Alberto throws Ricardo to Cena, and Ricardo doesn't like it. Oh, how about Bret in the match? John Lauranaitis comes out. Tag match! Alberto and Ricardo vs. Cena and Bret! I like it!
Dolph/Swagger vs. Morrison.Riley. Typical tag match with Ziggler and Swagger colliding, and then Ziggler watches Swagger get pinned.
I guess Truth can show his face in Canada all the time now. These two are awesome, using each other's catchphrases. Miz vs. Kingston on this show. Good stuff here.
Vickie and Kelly Kelly in a match tonight because Vickie basically ran her mouth too much.
Really? I didn't know Sheamus was full of personality. Yup, we know who's winning this one. Looks like we have a new Celtic Cross (to replace Finlay's version).
Time for Cena/Bret and Alberto/Ricardo. Ricardo getting thrown to the wolves. Bret gets the last word with the Sharpshooter.
Divas time with Vickie and Kelly. That was a waste of time.
Champion vs. champion to end the wrestling portion of the night. Orton and Rhodes are pretty damn good. Great pedigrees -- and it shows. Mark Henry showed up early in the match and stuck around. Good stuff from Orton and Cody. Cody takes off his mask to use as a weapon and gets the pin.
HHH and Punk with a war of words to finish the show. Punk brings up the ice cream bars! It's Phil Brooks talking to Paul Levesque! Two mics go dead! Punk clocks HHH with a third mic and the DX crotch chop at the end! Yes! Loved the end!

Nice video package on Mark Henry to start the show. He then cuts a pretty good promo. Zack Ryder comes out and puts in a no-contact rule between Henry and Orton until Night of Champions. Ryder stupidly tries to fight Henry and gets nuked. But now Big Zeke comes in for a match against Henry!
Battle of two big guys this time actually intrigued me. Probably shouldn't have cared much. Henry wins without too much offense from Zeke.
Aksana and Teddy Long again. Oh, Aksana's talented, ring announcing is not the only thing she can do with her mouth. She can sing too! Somehow, I wish Jillian Hall was still with the company.
Sin Cara time. I read that the original Sin Cara (Mistico) will be back to feud with Hunico (the person that played Sin Cara in Mistico's absence). So which Sin Cara will we get this week? Good stuff in his match with Kidd. Oh, Sin Cara can speak English! Must be Hunico under the mask because I hear Mistico's English is pretty bad. Daniel Bryan comes out. DB vs. Sin Cara next week! Oh, Sin Cara with the LeBell Lock on DB! This is good. Real good.
Divas match time. Not bad here. Good finish.
Christian wants one more match. Sheamus interrupts. Christian eventually leaves and Barrett comes out for his match with the Great White. Of course, Christian just had to interfere at the end.
Wonder of anyone caught Edge on "Haven" last night on SyFy. I was in Portland and not near a TV.
Air-Boom time. Mahal angry at Khali...Khali snaps and Air-Boom gets the win. Here we go with the start to that feud.
Orton and Cody in the main event. Orton's been on fire this year. Another fine match. Cody looked good in the ring as well.
So much for the no-contact rule. Orton and Henry get physical, and Mark wins this battle. Good shot of the crowd looking all concerned. It's still real to them, dammit!

Jeff Hardy returns tonight -- although eventually Hardy will be serving 10 days in jail for his drug charges.
Anderson has "bonded" with the Insane Icon Sting. Meanwhile, Devon finally pairs with Pope after hating his guts for a while. Anarquia is annoying on the mic.
Four finalists in BFG series got time to do promos.
Eddie Alvarez on commentary during Eric Young's match. EY dropped his pants to show some ring tights underneath that to throw Robbie off. Flying elbow really has taken off after Randy Savage was killed in the auto crash. EY hit a real good piledriver for the win.
RVD and Jerry Lynn continue their storyline.
World Title time. Good stuff here. No explanation needed. Kurt Angle was involved. Sting was special enforcer for this one. Immortal saves the title for Angle, which was the only lame part.
Knockouts match time with Karen Jarrett flaunting the power. They got more time than a couple of the guy's matches. Not a bad match here. Good use of the mist...or blood...whatever.
Aries promo. But WTF, Kendrick in a nice suit? Oh, Kendrick gets to rip the suit off and likes what he originally wore. And they brawl, of course. X-Division is cool.
Oops. Network does it again. Angle vs. Sting vs. Anderson for the title at No Surrender.
Four Corners match time. Joe comes out, but Morgan cuts him off. Match then actually starts. Bully Ray tells Gunner he's supposed to win. Liked the finish where Gunner pinned Bully Ray.
Jeff Hardy back to the face music. I personally liked the heel music he had before he took that sabbatical from TNA. Hardy basically wants one more shot to prove himself. Nice way to end the show. Short, to the point, and really got the fans into it.

First of all, my apologies for falling behind on my ratings. Business school has gotten pretty overwhelming, so again, these entries may very well become mostly ratings with a side of thought (if even that).
Mason Ryan returned to action this week after being out for some time due to injury. No doubt who'd win this one...gotta have that successful return. I'm assuming WWE is making Mason grow his hair out to keep away from the "Batista"chants. Pumphandle slam for a finisher, and it didn't look cleanly executed.
And here we go with two random teams just put together. Titus and Percy teaming up this week. I guess Percy was deemed ready for a main roster callup -- even if it's just Superstars. Tyler and Curt teaming up...sure, I guess. Impressive leaping ability from Percy. Thought it was a bit peculiar that the face team was put in the right-hand corner away from the cameras. Good tag team finisher from the heels.
Divas match here between two divas who were once friends but now enemies. Alicia is deemed the "Long-Legged Lolita." Good nickname. Alicia's axe kick was pretty bad here.
Brodus got some time to destroy another hometown hero.
Superstars got a FIFTH match in tonight, and clearly the best one of the show. First of all, this match got the most time. But also, these two just seemed to gel pretty well. Slater's improving, and DB is just a damn great performer. Slater looked real good here. I liked the DDT into a guillotine finisher.

Reviews/Thoughts:
Jack Korpela takes over on commentary this week, alongside Regal.
Darren Young vs. Regal later tonight. Good job at least making Young relevant on this show.
Bateman/Maxine vs. Titus/AJ...respectable mixed tag match here.
WWE advertising a new Orton DVD set. Not gonna get it, but it looks good.
As Regal goes to the back to change into his ring gear, Striker takes over on color commentary starting with the Tyson Kidd match. Kidd calls Yoshi out, and man, Yoshi comes out in a more intimidating ring attire, reminding me a lot of the Great Muta. This was a great match here. They got a bunch of time to shine, and this new Yoshi Tatsu character intrigues me. So are we calling Yoshi Tatsu by a new name ("Hakori") now?
WWE Network launching in 2012!
Regal and Young close out this show. JTG tries to interfere near the end of the match, but Striker cuts him off. Average stuff here, in my book. Crowd wasn't into it that much.

So is this show called RAW Supershow now? I put that in the title of this post anyway.
Punk starts off the show pissed at Nash and calls him out. Nash out to his nWo music. Punk called Nash "Super Shredder"...ha. Whoops, out comes HHH. HHH finds out Nash lied to him again. Nash gets testy, pushes HHH's buttons.HHH decks Nash and fires him. Na na na na, na na na na heyyyy...goodbye!
Nash leaves in a limo with John Lauranaitis. Interesting.
It's Air Boom time with some mashed up music! Basically an average match where Khali messes up again and nails Jinder, leading to an Air Boom win.
Alberto is back on TV, having taken care of his work visa issues.
Kelly Kelly, the Divas champ, is out for commentary during the #1 contender's match for the Divas title. With Kelly a face, this usually means the heel (Beth) will win this one. Natalya on commentary on Cole's side after accompanying Beth to the ring. The commentary completely overwhelmed anything in the match. Afterward, Natalya knocks Kelly down.
WWE plugging "Inside Out," a movie HHH is starring in. It's out in theaters this Friday.
R-Truth and Miz out for a promo. Nice suit, Miz. Miz and Truth will face Air Boom for the tag titles at Night of Champions. Truth can't say "epiphany." Leads to a match between Truth and Punk. Cole was annoying as heck during this match. Great stuff in this one. Miz got sent to the back near the end. Punk's been on fire the last few months.
Out comes HHH after the match. He changed the match at NoC between himself and Punk. No DQ match, anything goes. This should be real good. But hold on, if Punk wins, HHH resigns as COO. Done deal, match on. I'm liking this, and I want HHH to keep wielding the power a bunch longer, so I'm hoping for HHH to win this one -- and then Punk keeps pestering HHH to the point where the story continues for a few more months.
Lawler teams with Zack Ryder this week! Ryder gets a win on RAW! Woohoo!
Orton faces Slater next. Slater had no shot in this one.
Zack Ryder with more screen time! Yes!
Cena starts another segment with a promo, Alberto comes out, and eventually, eight guys are fighting. Teddy Long comes out and says he can intervene when necessary in a GM role. Eight-man elimination tag next! Morrison with good stuff in the ring. Butpoor Morrison...still in the doghouse as he taps to Swagger's ankle lock. Oop, here comes Vickie as we cut to commercial.
Swagger gets Riley to tap. Down to Cena and Sheamus on the face side. Sheamus gets Barrett with the Brogue Kick. Christian got a near fall on Sheamus. Christian slaps Sheamus, so Sheamus chases Christian all over the arena. Double countout leaves Cena alone with Swagger and Ziggler. Guess it's time for Super Cena to "defy the odds" and win again. But first, Cena must get beaten down before getting the cue to hulk up. Argument between Swagger and Ziggler. AA to Ziggler and Dolph is done. Ankle lock to Cena. Cena counters into an STF, and Swagger taps. ADR tries to ambush Cena, but an AA for Del Rio! Crowd goes home happy as the show goes off the air.
Not a bad RAW here. Storylines were furthered and a couple of good matches.
